Meet Robert! This sweet 2-year-old, 42lb Aussie mix is an energetic boy with a playful personality! Robert came to us from a large backyard breeding case, and while he can be a little unsure in new environments, he’s such a loving boy. Robert is an enthusiastic guy who is always excited to get out of his kennel and explore. He loves following his nose, sniffing around outside, and spending time with his canine friends. He’s done wonderfully with other dogs and has enjoyed walking and playing with several of his buddies! He also has a sweet side with people. Robert loves getting attention from staff and enjoys getting pets and affection. He seems like the kind of dog who will really blossom as he gets more exposure to new experiences and learns that the world is a safe place. He can be hesitant with unfamiliar situations, but he’s already making progress as he becomes more comfortable! Robert walks well on leash overall, though he can get distracted by all the exciting smells around him and may need some continued guidance. With patience and plenty of love, Robert is going to make a wonderful best friend.
