Meet Sasha! This 4-year-old, 64lb mixed breed girl is an incredibly affectionate sweetheart who's ready to leave her past behind and finally be someone's beloved pup. After spending years having litter after litter of puppies, Sasha is ready for a life where she's the one being cared for. If there's one thing Sasha loves most, it's people. She'll happily lean into you for pets, climb into your lap if you'll let her, and gently place a paw on your arm when she's hoping for just a little more affection. She's generous with kisses, loves being close to her humans, and has the sweetest, most loving personality. While the shelter environment can be a little overwhelming, Sasha's affectionate nature shines through. She finds comfort in being close to her people and settles nicely once she feels safe. She's also done well meeting other dogs, greeting them with friendly body language, and has previously lived with other dogs, cats, and children. Sasha is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, which is fully covered by the 15/10 Foundation, and she's expected to make a full recovery. After everything she's been through, Sasha deserves a home where she can simply enjoy being a dog. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle best friend with endless love to give, Sasha would love to meet you.
