Meet Scooby! This 11-month-old, 55lb mixed-breed boy is a goofy, spunky boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Scooby is a curious, playful guy who loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. He’s always ready to see what’s going on and would happily try to squeeze himself into your lap if you let him! Scooby is a medium-energy pup who enjoys staying active and especially loves playing tug, splashing around in the water, swimming, and romping with his canine friends. He absolutely loves other dogs and would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion who can keep up with his fun-loving personality. Once he’s had a chance to get some energy out, he’s happy to settle down and relax with his people. Scooby is also a smart boy who really wants to please. Like any adolescent dog, Scooby is still figuring out the rules, and when he gets overly excited, he can pull on the leash a bit at the beginning of walks, but settles into a nicer pace once he gets moving. Scooby is potty trained and does well in his crate. He doesn’t always want to go in on his own, but he settles nicely once he’s guided inside. Scooby is a silly, sweet, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who is eager to keep learning. He’ll thrive with an active family who can provide structure, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to be the goofy teenager he is!
