Scout
Meet Scout! This 11-month-old, 18lb Jack Russell mix is a smart, active little guy who is always ready for his next adventure. With his sharp mind, playful personality, and eagerness to learn, Scout is the kind of dog who thrives when he has both physical exercise and mental enrichment to keep him engaged. Scout is incredibly food motivated and has already completed a training program where he learned several foundational skills, including sit, shake, place, and stay. He loves learning new things and enjoys working alongside his people! When it comes to fun, Scout is all in. He absolutely loves the dog park, chasing tennis balls, playing fetch with a frisbee, and roughhousing with his canine friends. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having playmates who can match his energy and enthusiasm. Because of his active personality and continued need for boundaries and structure, Scout would likely do best in a home without cats or very young children. He could also do well with experienced adopters who are committed to continuing his training and helping him build on the great foundation he already has. At his core, Scout is a bright, affectionate, adventure-loving boy who is ready to find a forever family that can keep up with him and help him continue thriving!
