Meet Silk! This 4-month-old mixed breed puppy is expected to be medium sized when fully grown and is already showing off her bright mind, happy spirit, and fun-loving personality. Silk is very food motivated and eager to learn: she’s already a pro at “sit” and loves training time when treats are involved. She enjoys being outside and is perfectly content relaxing in a sunny spot after some playtime. Silk loves all kinds of toys, especially durable chew toys, and she’s even starting to get the hang of fetch. While she enjoys affection and welcomes pets and hugs, Silk isn’t overly clingy. She’s happiest relaxing near her people (under your chair or on the next cushion), always close, but comfortable doing her own thing. That said, she’s definitely your little shadow and likes to keep track of where you are (and whether any snacks might be nearby!). Silk recently had her first leash walk and, although a little unsure at first, handled the new experience very well. She does great with other dogs and is learning the routines of home life. Like any young puppy, Silk is still working on potty and crate training and will need a family ready to provide consistency and patience!
