True to her Husky roots, Silver is incredibly intelligent, athletic, curious, and always ready for her next adventure. She loves having a job to do and continues to make great progress with leash skills, impulse control, and other manners when given clear guidance! Silver absolutely loves other dogs and has become great friends with her canine foster sibling. They enjoy walking side by side and spending time together, and she would likely love having a canine companion in her forever home. She's also affectionate with her people and has been a wonderful companion and house guest in foster care. Silver's biggest consideration is her high prey drive and serious escape-artist skills. She is intensely interested in squirrels, deer, and other small animals and has gone to extraordinary lengths to chase them, including fence-jumping! Because of this, Silver needs a home with a very secure, large fenced yard and minimal wildlife, along with adopters who understand that she cannot be off leash outdoors. Silver is fully potty trained and does well with crate training. She's an incredibly sweet girl and a total athlete who will thrive with an active, dog-savvy family ready to give her the structure, enrichment, exercise, and secure environment she needs.
