True to her Husky roots, Silver is active, curious, and always ready for whatever the day has in store. Silver thrives in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and quality time with her people. Whether she's going for a walk, playing in the yard, or making new dog friends, she's happiest when she has an outlet for her energy and enthusiasm. She loves to chase and be chased by other dogs, making her a great match for playful canine companions who enjoy an active play style! This beautiful girl is also incredibly smart. She already knows commands like down, stay, paw, leave it, and more, and she's eager to continue learning. She's highly food motivated, takes treats gently, waits her turn politely, and has no food aggression. Her foster jokes that her name should be "Shadow" because she loves being near her people and often follows them from room to room, and loves to chase shadows! Silver is fully potty trained and excellent in her crate. She sleeps soundly through the night and settles comfortably when crated during the day. She's also made great progress with leash walking and continues improving with consistent guidance. While Silver absolutely adores other dogs, she's learning that not every dog wants to play as much as she does. She's making wonderful progress reading social cues and respecting boundaries.
