Meet Spoon! This 1.5-year-old, 43lb mixed breed is a curious, affectionate girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to her people. Spoon is the definition of a “Velcro dog”: she loves following her humans from room to room and is happiest when she can simply be by your side! Spoon is a smart, observant pup who enjoys keeping an eye on everything going on around her. She’s also a big fan of independent entertainment, especially when it comes to her beloved bone basket. Nylabones are her absolute favorite, and she'll happily pull out a dozen at a time, settling nearby to chew while still making sure her people are nearby. When it comes to other dogs, Spoon truly shines. She absolutely loves playing with canine friends and could happily romp around all day! Because she enjoys dog company so much, she would likely thrive in a home with a playful canine sibling. Spoon has a wonderful medium energy level and would make an amazing family dog. She’s great with kids, potty trained, and sleeps wonderfully in her crate at night. While she doesn’t love being crated during the day or left alone for long periods, she does best when she knows her people are nearby.
