Meet Spoon! This 1.5-year-old, 43lb mixed breed is a curious, affectionate girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to her people. Spoon is the definition of a “Velcro dog," she loves following her humans from room to room and is happiest simply being by your side. Spoon is a smart, observant pup who enjoys keeping an eye on everything going on around her. She’s also a big fan of independent entertainment, especially her beloved bone basket: Nylabones are her favorite, and she’ll happily pull out a handful and settle nearby to chew while staying close to her people. When it comes to other dogs, Spoon absolutely shines. She LOVES to play and could happily romp around all day, and she would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. Spoon can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly sweet, loving, and deeply bonded to her person. She is also working through some anxiety with the crate and being left alone, so she’ll need adopters committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence. With patience, structure, and love, Spoon will blossom into the most loyal, affectionate companion.
