Meet Spoon! This 2-year-old, 52lb mixed-breed girl is a smart, affectionate girl with so much love to give. Spoon has blossomed in foster care and continues to grow more confident every day. She’s eager to please, thrives with structure and routine, and is ready to find a family who will continue helping her shine! Spoon absolutely loves to play! Whether she’s chasing a ball, wrestling with her canine friends, or heading out on an adventure, she’s always up for fun. She’s becoming quite the fetch pro and has even mastered dropping the ball to keep the game going! While she has plenty of playful energy, she’s equally happy to curl up for cuddles with her people after a busy day. Spoon has done well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around and loves inviting them to play. Spoon has made great progress with her confidence around new people. She can still be a little skittish, especially when she’s startled or surprised, but she continues to adjust well to new environments and is an incredibly sweet girl once she feels comfortable. At home, Spoon is fully potty trained and is an overall polite houseguest. She doesn't love going in her crate, but once she’s in, she settles nicely and doesn’t complain. She’s continuing to build her confidence and learn her routines as she adjusts to foster care! Spoon is a playful, loving girl who has already come such a long way. With a patient family willing to continue building her confidence and set her up for success, we know this smart girl will keep shining!
