After coming from a backyard breeding situation, Strawberry is learning how to be a dog in a safe, loving environment. Strawberry is incredibly friendly and affectionate, and she absolutely loves pets and attention once she feels comfortable. She also does well with other dogs and benefits from their presence as she continues to build confidence. Because of her past, Strawberry is still working on her basics, including potty training and crate training, and learning that the crate can be a safe, relaxing space. She will need a patient, understanding adopter who is committed to helping her continue this journey with consistency, encouragement, and love. Strawberry may need a little extra time to decompress and adjust, but with the right home, she will blossom into a devoted, loving companion.
