Meet Tami! This 11-month-old, 40lb mixed breed gal is a sweet, playful pup with a curious spirit and so much love to give. Tami absolutely loves being outside, whether she’s running, exploring new smells, or playing to her heart’s content, she’s happiest when she has space to stretch her legs and burn off her energy. Tami is affectionate and people-oriented, always wanting to be close to her humans and part of whatever you’re doing. She has that fun, higher puppy energy and would thrive in a home that can keep her active, engaged, and entertained. She also does great with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion, she and her foster sibling can play for hours and even snuggle up together afterward! Tami sleeps and eats in her crate and settles well overnight, though she’s still working through some anxiety when crated during the day. She has made so much progress in just a few weeks and continues to improve with consistency and routine. She’s very close to being fully potty trained and does best when kept on a schedule. Tami may be a bit of an athlete and escape artist, so she’ll need a secure setup or supervision outside. With time, patience, and love, Tami is going to thrive in her forever home!
