Timothy

Meet Timothy! This 1-year-old, 42.5lb mixed-breed sweetheart is equal parts snuggly companion and blossoming goofball. As he’s grown healthier after a rough start, more of his playful, silly personality continues to shine through! Timothy is incredibly loving with his people and truly thrives on connection. He listens well, adores attention, and is a total natural in front of the camera (those baby blues don’t miss!). He enjoys chasing tennis balls, joining in on playtime, and then curling up for cozy naps by your side. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy a friendly companion, but could also thrive as a spoiled solo pup. Timothy is potty trained and does well in his crate when you’re home, often bringing a toy or treat in with him. However, he is still working through separation anxiety and can struggle when left alone, sometimes whining or having difficulty settling. He’ll need a patient, committed adopter to continue supporting him through this with structure and training. He can be a bit shy or unsure with new people at first, but warms up with time and positive experiences. Timothy also has Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and will need to remain on a lifelong specialty diet. With love and consistency, Timothy will make an incredibly devoted, joyful companion!
