Meet Tippy! This 11-year-old, 59lb hound mix is the definition of a gentle soul. Sweet, social, and endlessly friendly, Tippy has a heart as warm as her big brown eyes. She loves everyone she meets and happily greets new friends with a wagging tail and a smile. True to her hound roots, Tippy is most content with her nose to the ground, sniffing and exploring her surroundings! Tippy is a food-motivated girl, which makes her both fun and easy to work with. She’s been wonderful with other dogs — social, calm, and respectful — and she recently met a child at our Adoption Center and was as kind and friendly as can be. She seems to be potty trained, keeping a clean kennel, and loves nothing more than attention, pets, and soaking up love from her people. Though she’s a senior, Tippy still has plenty of pep in her step and a zest for life. She’d thrive in a variety of homes, whether as a companion for another friendly dog or the center of attention in a quieter household. Tippy is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and plenty of cozy naps!
