Meet Zeus! This handsome 1-year-old, 61lb mixed-breed boy is a happy, energetic pup with plenty of love to give! Zeus has a friendly personality and isn’t shy about showing affection. When he first met the team, he greeted us with kisses and was eager to make friends! He’s a playful guy who loves spending time with other dogs and has enjoyed plenty of playdates with his canine pals. His play style is on the submissive side, and with some guidance, he could make a wonderful companion for a playful dog! Zeus has also been living with a cat and has done well! He’s curious and playful with his feline roommate, and even when the cat corrects him with a swat, Zeus takes it in stride without reacting negatively. With proper introductions and supervision, he'd likely be able to share his home with a cat, too! This smart boy has already learned some tricks, including sit, down, and focus, and he’s ready to keep learning! Zeus is a higher-energy pup who can get excited when he spots other dogs on walks, so he’ll benefit from continued leash training, regular exercise, and plenty of enrichment. One important note: Zeus has a chicken allergy, so his new family will need to keep that in mind when choosing his food and treats!
