To spread even more holiday cheer, Gaylord Opryland will host a Holiday Puppy Adoption Event in partnership with Wags & Walks before Nashville Nights on Tuesday, December 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the resort’s Pinetop Village Tree Farm, located across from the signature ICE! attraction. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with two litters of adorable rescue puppies, just in time to find their forever homes before Christmas. In celebration of this year’s ICE! theme, “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” beloved character Snoopy will be on-site for photo ops with guests and pups alike. Onsite adoptions will be available, and families can take home their new furry friend the same day.

Wags & Walks Nashville is back with Holiday for the Hounds: Round 2 — a full day of festive fun and live music in support of rescue dogs!

Start the celebration at our Pre-Show Market from 3–5 PM, featuring local vendors, holiday shopping, and plenty of seasonal cheer. Then return when doors open at 7 PM for an incredible night of performances from Dad Hats, Slow Shiv, Boy Clothes, and Together Breakfast.

Every dollar raised directly supports Wags & Walks’ life-saving rescue efforts.

Join us for a fun and productive pack walk! This is the perfect opportunity to practice leash training and proper socialization with your pup in a supportive environment.

What to Expect:

• 30 minutes of group work: We'll focus on leash training, ensuring your dog is comfortable and confident.

• 30 minutes of trail/path walking: Practice passing other dogs calmly and without stress as we walk through the park.

What to Bring:

• Your dog on a leash (no retractable leashes, please).

• Plenty of kibble or treats to reward your dog throughout the session.

Join us for Wag-O-Ween, a special adoption and costume contest event!

• The Lawn at Nashville Yards (910 Exchange Lane, Nashville)

Meet adorable Wags & Walks puppies and select adult dogs who are ready to find their forever homes. Our adoption counselors will be onsite to guide you through the process, answer your questions, and help set you and your new pup up for success. Many of our dogs will even be available to go home the same day!

Puppy Training Classes are designed for puppies ages 2–4 months and are a great way to start your pup off on the right track.

Led by Mackenzie Kuzlik of K9 Tails of Success, this interactive class begins with a quick Q&A, where participants share the top challenges they’re facing. The class is then tailored to address those issues, creating a customized learning experience for both pups and their people.

Topics may include potty and crate training, leash skills, socialization, and basic obedience like sit, down, and recall.

Please bring your puppy on a leash and some kibble or treats to keep them engaged during the session. This class is limited to 10 puppies.

Sip seasonal cocktails, snap free pup portraits, and let your furry friend shine in a costume contest. A portion of the proceeds from the day will be going back to Wags & Walks!

All levels for yoga are welcome!

The soccer team partners with local rescues shelters like Wags & Walks and Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control (MACC) to highlight adoptable dogs at home games. On Saturday, October 18th. An adoptable pups from Wags will be featured on the big screen before kickoff!

Join us for a Paint Your Pet Class led by Sarah Shearer!

Sarah will sketch your pet’s onto the canvas in advance, setting you up to create the paw-fect masterpiece as you learn how to complete a portrait of your beloved pet! Let your creativity flow in this accessible, fun paint night- no prior art experience required.

With registration you receive:

Get your pup the annual basic vetting they need! Open to the public, first come first serve!

All dogs must be leashed and kept 6 feet or more apart from other dogs onsite.

You will fill out a form at our check-in table and then wait with your pup in your vehicle and receive a text when it’s your turn!
