June Adult Training Class
Wags & Walks is thrilled to announce that we will expand our training opportunities and are now offering adult training classes & packages in 2024.
These classes are on 6/8 & 6/22 and are reserved as a bundle, the classes are on June 8th and June 22nd starting at 9 am.
Champion K9 will teach beginner basics, discuss dog ownership, and socialization tips and advice on preparing your home for your dog. Participants are required to bring a 6-ft. leash (no retractables), a well-fitted collar, and high-value treats for their dog. Bring your pup on a leash, pack some kibble to reward them throughout the class, and we'll see you at the Adoption Center!
A $80 donation is required and all proceeds go back to our rescue pups!
Love + Exile Winery & Bar Adoption Event
Join us at Love+Exile Winery and Bar to meet adoptable pups!
Our adoption team will be onsite to help with applications and answer any questions!
Wags Pack Walk
Join us this weekend at Ellington Agricultural Center to practice leash training and proper socialization with your pup! We’ll do 30 minutes of work as a group and then we’ll spend 30 min practicing trail/path walking to help your pup practice passing other pups with ease.
We will meet atop the hill, with ample parking usually near old horse barn.
Bring your dog on a leash (no retractables, please) and plenty of kibble or treats to work reward them throughout the session. Jake at Greenhouse Dog Training will lead a session and will give tips and feedback throughout the class. Make a $20 donation to secure your spot!
Virtual Foster Orientation

Join us at TENNFOLD and meet some of our adoptable dogs! Enjoy a beer, snuggle some puppies, and maybe even take one home! Our adoption team will be onsite to help with applications and answer any questions.
Low-cost Vaccine & Microchip Clinic
Get your pup the annual basic vetting they need! Open to the public, first come first serve, we have capacity for 65 attendees.
All dogs must be leashed and kept 6 feet or more apart from other dogs onsite.
You will fill out a form at our check-in table and then wait with your pup in your vehicle and receive a text when it’s your turn!

Wags & Walks is thrilled to announce that we will expand our training opportunities and are now offering puppy classes & packages in 2024. Piper's Place Dog Training will host our first classes at the Wags & Walks Adoption Center and will be fantastic for puppies 2-5 months old.
This class will cap at eight puppies & will balance active training with your puppy and the discussion/question portion while your puppy takes a break. Classes will cover potty and crate training tips, leash training, appropriate socialization, and more information to help raise your puppy into a happy, confident adult dog. We will also start practicing basic obedience skills such as sitting, down, and coming when called.

Rivian Adoption Event
Join us for our next Adoption Event at Rivian located in 5th & Broadway to meet some of our adoptable puppies! We will have adoption counselors on site to process applications and conduct interviews. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application beforehand so our team has time to review. Rivian is able to validate parking for attendees for up to two hours.
