Volunteer Orientation

Wags & Walks Nashville is looking for volunteers!

We rely heavily on the support and commitment of our volunteers to help us in our quest to continue saving lives, and we are so excited that you have decided to join us on our mission!

The first step to volunteering with our organization is to attend a volunteer orientation, which is required to be a Wags and Walks Volunteer! *

This is a one-hour virtual orientation where you can learn more about our organization and ALL our volunteering opportunities. This varies everywhere from animal care, fundraising, transporting, fostering, special events, photography, and more!

During orientation, you'll learn the following:

  • About dog rescue

  • About our organization

  • Current volunteer opportunities

  • What to expect during training

  • Scheduling instructions and more!
