This 10-year-old, 16-lb Chihuahua mix is the silliest little old lady around. She was brought to a local LA shelter as a stray. When we met Janet, her whole body started wiggling to greet us. She was diagnosed with a heart murmur when she entered our care, but with continued monitoring and daily medication, she is living a perfectly normal, healthy life! Now that she's starting to settle in, she is blossoming in her foster home. Janet takes her time getting to know new friends, and she turns into the wiggliest, spunkiest girl once she's built trust. She’s mellow, affectionate, and loves going to the park and finding a shady spot to relax. Janet does amazing with other dogs and enjoys relaxed strolls and lounging around. She’s currently working on mastering potty training and continues to do well with routine and consistency. This gentle senior likes to walk on leash at a leisurely pace so she can get her sniffs in.
