This 1-year-old, 26-lb Pug Mix is gentle, affectionate, and just waiting for the right person to bring him out of his shell. Alfie was found wandering outside someone's home. They did everything they could to locate his owners, but with no luck, Wags & Walks stepped in to give him the fresh start he deserves. Alfie loves spending time with people, gets along well with other dogs, and walks nicely on leash. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a moment, and he'll approach with the most precious puppy dog eyes and quietly ask for all the pets. He is the kind of guy who warms up gradually and then is as loyal as they come once trust has been built! He is learning that he is safe now and is starting to love exploring while he’s out and about and playing with toys. This smart guy also taught himself “sit” by watching his foster pup sibling and is working on his other household basics and leash manners. Alfie would do best in a patient, calm home where he can take his time and settle in at his own pace. He has so much sweetness to offer.
