This 2-year-old, 29-lb French Bulldog is mellow and full of silly charm. Balboa was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he arrived with painful scabs covering his face. As he healed, it became clear that he is also partially blind in both eyes. Despite the challenges he has undoubtedly faced, Balboa is quietly confident and endlessly loving. Now safe in our care, he’s feeling better every day and ready for a fresh start. Balboa enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash with a little guidance, taking things at a comfortable pace. His gentle nature makes him easy to be around and a joy to spend time with. Balboa is still learning and benefits from patience, consistency, and space to be his perfect self. He would do best in a loving home that understands his visual impairment and is willing to provide a predictable, supportive environment.
