These sweet Poodle mixes were surrendered into our care by their elderly owner. She had moved into an assisted living facility that did not allow dogs. Sadly, she had no other living friends or family to take in Cosmo and Miracle. Thankfully, we were able to step up for them. 14-year-old, 8-lb Cosmo had been in his owner's home since puppyhood, and 10-year-old, 18-lb Miracle joined the family seven years ago after he was found abandoned in a dog park. The boys have been inseparable ever since. Shortly after they came into our care, it became clear that Cosmo and Miracle would need extensive medical treatment. They are both experiencing advanced dental disease (some of the worst we have ever seen), among other health complications. We are already working to get them the care they need, but it will take time to get these boys healthy. These gentle, laid-back seniors deserve to spend their golden years in a loving forever home. They love to go on walks and sniff everything they can while out and about before coming home to find a comfy spot to take a nap. They are affectionate, friendly pups who enjoy being close to their people, but are happy to spend time on their own while their people are occupied. These pups will thrive with compassionate, caring adopters who will give them the golden years they deserve. Cosmo and Miracle are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together.
