This 3-year-old, 39-lb boy is a gentle sweetheart. We rescued Dewey from a dangerously overcrowded shelter where he was kenneled with four other large dogs. Even in that overwhelming environment, he remained calm and gentle. Now safely in our care, he is getting a well-deserved second chance. Dewey is a loving, gentle guy who just wants to be near his people. He will happily come sit by your side and lay his head in your lap for pets (and sweetly ask for more if you stop). This mellow guy has done well coexisting with other dogs, especially if they match his laid-back energy. Dewey is fully potty-trained and walks well on a leash.
