This 1-year-old, 88-lb mixed breed gal is silly, snuggly and searching for her people! Dune was found as a stray in Bakersfield alongside six other dogs before we rescued her from the shelter. Now safe in our care, she’s receiving the love and support she always deserved. Dune is a gentle, social girl who adores hanging out and stay close to her humans. She’s a little goofy in the cutest way and never turns down a belly rub. She enjoys relaxing with her humans, exploring at her own pace, and soaking in affection. Though she can get overwhelmed in loud or busy environments, she warms up beautifully with calm encouragement. At our Adoption Center, she has been steadily building self-assurance and improving her leash manners every day. While we are still getting to know her, we expect Dune will likely thrive in a variety of homes with confident adopters.
