This 4-year-old, 59-lb mixed-breed gal is looking for her forever home! Esmerelda came to us from an LA shelter almost a year ago, and she's been waiting for her perfect match ever since. She is affectionate, playful, and loves to cuddle and show off her silly side.
Esmerelda adores spending time with her people and playing with her pup friends, and can keep herself entertained for hours with her favorite toys. She is especially happy when curled up under a blanket in a cozy spot on the couch. She is patient and respectful in the home and is incredibly polite when she asks for pets. Esme can be hesitant when meeting new friends, but once she feels comfortable (and perhaps with the help of some delicious treats), she quickly becomes a total sweetheart.
This honey-eyed good girl is fully potty-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and completed a training program at Canine School of Behavior, where she mastered her basics and built her confidence. Esmerelda would absolutely thrive in a home with another large breed dog and would especially love a yard or access to outdoor space (she loves to roll around in the grass). She will do best with an experienced adopter who can help her keep up with her training and provide the routine and structure she needs to thrive!
