This 9-month-old, 47-lb Mixed Breed gal is gentle, affectionate, and one of the most resilient pups you'll ever meet. Fairy was found as a stray and brought to a shelter, where we stepped in to give her the care she deserves. When she came to us, we discovered she had healed fractures in her cheekbones that have left her unable to fully open her mouth. Our medical team is actively assessing what she needs to help her live life to the fullest, and in the meantime, this sweet girl is taking everything in stride. Despite everything she has been through, Fairy is warm, social, and eager to make friends. She does wonderfully with kids and approaches new people with a gentle, open heart. At home she is calm and mellow and perfectly content to curl up on the carpet or in her bed and soak up the quiet. She walks well on leash and has a low-key energy that makes her an easy, easygoing companion. She does have one notable passion: water from the hose. She will chase it, try to eat it, and do it all over again. Fairy is fully potty trained and crate trained and would do well in a loving home that can support her continued medical care as she heals and blossoms.
