This 5-year-old, 55-lb Shepherd/Husky mix is a sweet, playful, and affectionate girl who loves people and other dogs. Jada was rescued from an overcrowded shelter nearly 2 years ago. She enjoys cuddle time with her humans, going for walks, and socializing with other dogs. She has done well in playgroup at our center, showing herself to be a gentle and dainty playmate—even with the smallest pups. She is an extremely smart gal and is always up for a hike or other enrichment activity. After attending a training program with LAK9s, her trainer fell in love with her, and she has been her foster since then. We believe Jada will mean the world to her future adopter, and she can’t wait to find her forever person! She can be a bit nervous in new situations, but with patience and encouragement, she warms up quickly and reveals her friendly, loving personality. Jada will thrive with a confident handler who can guide her when she feels nervous and reinforce positive behaviors. She would do well in a home with another friendly dog to help build her confidence and provide companionship.
