This 8-year-old, 29-lb mixed breed gal was found collapsed in the street, so emaciated she couldn’t even stand. It appeared she had been bred multiple times in her life, and once her body could give no more, she was abandoned. An animal control officer found her and cared for her, helping her begin her recovery before she eventually made her way to us. Despite everything she’s been through, Midge is an incredibly loving girl who simply wants to be close to her people. She has the softest, most soulful eyes and a way of looking at you that feels like pure love. She enjoys leisurely walks where she can take in the world around her and is great on leash. Midge is close to mastering potty training and does great in her crate. She has a medium energy level with occasional bursts of playful spunk as she continues to regain her strength and confidence. She will thrive in a safe home that can continue supporting her as she grows stronger and enjoys the life she’s always deserved.
