This 1-year-old, 8-lb Chihuahua mix is a very sweet boy. We recently rescued Nook from an overcrowded LA shelter, and he is starting to come out of his shell in our care. This gentle guy is learning what it is to be properly cared for and is opening up to his foster family. Nook was hesitant at first and has opened up with kisses and belly rubs from his people. He adores his foster pup sibling and is working on mastering his leash manners! As Nook has settled into his foster household, he has showed more of his spunky personality! He would love to be in a home with another confident dog who can continue to show him the ropes. Nook will thrive with patient adopters who will provide structure and guidance.
