This 1-year-old, 8-lb Chihuahua mix is a very sweet boy. We recently rescued Nook from an overcrowded LA shelter, and he is starting to come out of his shell in our care. This gentle guy is learning what it is to be properly cared for and is starting to open up in his foster home. Nook can be hesitant at first, but loves to give little kisses and get belly rubs from his people. Though generally a calm guy, he does get occasional and very cute zoomies. He adores his foster pup sibling, who is helping him build his confidence. He is learning to walk on a leash and is starting to be curious rather than timid in new or unfamiliar surroundings. He would love to be in a home with another confident dog who can continue to show him the ropes.
