This 2-year-old, 19-lb Poodle mix is a gentle, lovable sweetheart. Picasso was surrendered to a local shelter with a fractured femur. He underwent surgery to repair the fracture and began his healing journey in the shelter. Unfortunately, due to ongoing complications, his back leg was ultimately removed to give him a pain-free life, and now he’s a super cool tripod! Despite everything he’s been through, Picasso is not letting anything slow him down, and he’s ready for his fresh start. This sweet boy is very affectionate and, although he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, he always greets them with a wag of his tail and asks for pets. We are still getting to know Picasso as he begins to open up in his foster home, where he is working on learning his household basics and leash manners. He will thrive with adopters who will allow him to open up at his own pace and will provide him with the care and comfort he deserves.
