This 2-year-old, 19-lb Poodle mix is a gentle, lovable sweetheart. Picasso was surrendered to a local shelter with a fractured femur. He underwent surgery to repair the fracture and began his healing journey in the shelter. After so much turmoil, we knew we had to give this little guy his second chance. Now, safely in our care, Picasso is continuing to heal in his cozy foster home and is expected to make a full recovery. This sweet boy is very affectionate and, although he can be a bit shy meeting new people, he always greets them with tail wags and asks for pets. We are still getting to know Picasso as he begins to open up in his foster home, where he is working on learning his household basics and leash manners. He will thrive with adopters who will allow him to open up at his own pace and will provide him with the care and comfort he deserves.
