This 1-year-old, 36-lb pup is a spirited, affectionate guy who, in just one year, has already been through so much. Pooh and his brothers, Owl and Eeyore, were picked up as strays and brought to the shelter in critical condition. All three were severely malnourished and completely infested with fleas and ticks. We knew that after all they had been through, they deserved a second chance, so we decided to take them in. They received urgent medical exams upon their arrival at our rescue. Our team worked quickly to get them stable, and now all three boys are doing well on their way to becoming normal, healthy pups. All Pooh needs now is a loving forever home. He is an energetic pup who wants to say hi to everyone and is quick to crawl into your lap for cuddles. This snuggly guy is working on building his confidence and is even starting to enjoy neighborhood strolls. We’re still getting to know Pooh, but we know he will thrive with loving adopters who will give him structure and guidance as he continues to grow up.
