Meet adoptable Pooh! This 1-year-old, 36-lb pup is a spirited, affectionate guy who, in just one year, has already been through so much. Pooh and his brothers, Owl and Eeyore, were picked up as strays and brought to the shelter in critical condition. All three were severely malnourished and completely infested with fleas and ticks. We knew that after all they had been through, they deserved a second chance, so we decided to take them in. They received urgent medical exams upon their arrival at our rescue. Our team worked quickly to get them stable, and now all three boys are doing well on their way to becoming normal, healthy pups. All Pooh needs now is a loving forever home.
He is an affectionate pup who wants to say hi to everyone and is quick to crawl into your lap for cuddles. Pooh has a playful streak, but he is also really good at settling down for a snooze anywhere you put his dog bed down. This snuggly guy is working on building his confidence and is even starting to enjoy neighborhood strolls and trips to coffee shops and restaurants with his foster family. He is fully potty-trained, does well in his crate, and walks beautifully on a leash.
