He’s a 9-month-old, 40-lb, guy who is ready for his second chance. Our team learned about Wormie from a community post online. Wormie had been living in the parking lot of a flower shop for days with only a pile of dirt to call home. Our went out in the middle of the night to pick him up and get him to safety. It didn't take long to earn his trust. This sweet boy is affectionate, trusting, and easily won over with snacks. We got him to our adoption center, where he was evaluated by our medical team. He is only 9 months old and weighs 40 lbs. Wormie is now safely in our care and ready to find his forever family. He is still getting used to all of the changes in his life, and will do best with an adopter who is willing to go at his pace. We have no doubt that, with a little nurturing, he will blossom into a silly and playful boy! He might have once slept in a bed of dirt, unwanted and unloved, but this loving boy is on the way to a brighter future!
