This 3-month-old, 11-lb, mixed-breed puppy is adorable and playful. Speedy and his siblings, the Looney Tunes litter, were rescued from a garbage dump. When they arrived at our rescue, they were malnourished and tested positive for ringworm, an extremely contagious fungal infection, and Giardia, an intestinal illness that made combating malnutrition even more challenging. With thorough, round-the-clock care and specialized treatment, they improved, and there is now no sign of active infection. These little ones are starting to enjoy puppyhood in their foster homes and are now ready to find their forever families. Speedy is happiest when he’s playing with his foster pup siblings and exploring his surroundings. He has plenty of energy, but is also happy to snuggle once he’s gotten his wiggles out. Like all puppies his age, Speedy is working on mastering his household basics. He would love adopters who will embrace his youthful energy and guide him as he grows up.
