This 8-year-old, 11-lb Boston Terrier is a bundle of love. We met Strudel in a dangerously overcrowded shelter. She had been picked up as a stray and brought in by Animal Control. Given her breed and age, we have no doubt that she once had a home. However, based on her condition, it’s hard to say whether she was ever truly loved. When Strudel came into our care, she was underweight, the skin on her face was raw and inflamed, and she had a painful ulcer in one of her eyes. Both of her ears were severely infected, and she was suffering from a hernia that required surgical repair. Thankfully, we were able to get her the medical treatments she needed, and now she is well on her way to making a full recovery. Despite everything she’s been through, this sweet girl has so much love to give. She is the most cuddly, affectionate lap dog who wants to be wherever you are. She loves to make new friends and will greet everyone with lots of kisses. She’s a mellow, laid-back gal who still has plenty of energy for exploring and even gets adorable zoomies when she’s excited. This confident girl has also done well coexisting with a cat and another dog in her foster home. Strudel is fully potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash.
