Meet Sue!

Breed: Shepherd Mix
Age: 8 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 64 lbs

This 8-year-old, 64-lb Shepherd mix is gentle, charming, and mild-mannered. Sue came into our care after being abandoned at a training facility where 22 dogs were left behind when the business owner became gravely ill. Thanks to the rescue efforts of Pup Culture Rescue and Animal Theory Rescue, Sue finally got the fresh start she deserves! Sue has a calm, friendly personality and adores meeting both people and other dogs. She loves going for leisurely walks where she can stop and take in all the wonderful smells the world has to offer. Sue walks nicely on leash and enjoys peaceful outings with her humans. Sue likely has a degenerative hip condition that limits her mobility, which is currently managed with daily supplements. Because of this, she does best with short walks and limited physical activity so she can stay comfortable and happy. We’re still getting to know Sue, but we expect she will thrive in a variety of homes. If you’re looking for a kind, mellow companion who appreciates the simple pleasures of life by your side, Sue may be the perfect match.
