Tai
Meet Tai
Breed: Doberman
Age: 1 year old
Gender: Female
Weight: 54 lbs
This 1-year-old, 54-lb Doberman is an affectionate, goofy girl. Tai and her siblings, Cher and Dionne, were found as strays on the streets of Bakersfield, CA. They were covered in Demodex mange, a debilitating skin infection, and extremely malnourished. When they arrived at the shelter, they were scheduled to be euthanized. We got to them just before their deadline. When we got them back to our adoption center, we realized that they knew a handful of basic commands. It became clear that these girls had lived in someone’s home, but neglect and abandonment had left them in heartbreaking condition. Thankfully, they are now safely in our care and getting the help they need, and Tai is ready to find a loving home. This fun, silly girl is a ball of youthful energy who loves running around the yard and playing with her toys. She gets along well with other dogs and is eager to make new friends with people and pups alike. This smart girl is working on mastering potty-training and does well in her crate. She is also working on perfecting her leash manners in her foster home. This sweet pup has been through so much and will thrive with loving adopters who will give her the care and structure she needs to live a happy, healthy life. If you’re looking for a fun, adorable best friend, Tai could be your girl!
