This 3-year-old, 15-lb French Bulldog is the sweetest little gal. When we met Tootsie at an overcrowded shelter, her left eye was ulcerated and visibly damaged, and it was clear she was in pain. We don’t know how she ended up in this condition, but we knew we had to step in and help this sweet girl. After several exams, we determined that for Tootsie to live a pain-free life, her eye would need to be removed. She will undergo surgery soon and is expected to make a full recovery and live a normal, healthy life. This gentle girl has taken everything in stride and is showing us just how lovable and friendly she is in her foster home. She loves to sit in your lap and get as many belly rubs as you’re willing to give her. Tootsie loves to lounge and enjoys snoozing by your side while you work from home or watch a movie. She is working on perfecting her household basics and will thrive with adopters who will give her a consistent routine and lots of love as she continues to heal.
