Meet Topo!
Breed: Terrier Mix
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Male
Weight: 25 lbs
We rescued Topo from a crowded Southern California shelter after he was pulled from a heartbreaking situation. Topo was found living in a home with at least 12 other dogs. The dogs were removed from the home and brought to the shelter. Thankfully, we were able to give Topo, and his brother Chico the second chances they deserve.
Since coming into our care, Topo has been decompressing in his foster home. This gentle boy can be shy when making new friends, but with time and patience, he comes out of his shell. He has found comfort and confidence in a 9-year-old Pug who has become his trusted companion.
Topo is working on mastering potty training, and has made great strides with walking on leash. He would do well in a home with a confident pup sibling or as a solo dog with adopters who let him open up at his own pace. This little guy is the sweetest, most adorable boy once he feels comfortable and safe. Are you willing to give Topo a chance?
