This 1-year-old, 11-lb Terrier mix is a playful, affectionate pup. While we were doing our weekly shelter visit, Trotsky was being surrendered there by his owner. Thankfully, we had enough space to take him with us, and he didn’t have to spend much time in the shelter system. Now safely in our care, Trotsky is showing us his playful, affectionate personality. This sweet boy has plenty of puppy energy and tons of love to give. He adores his trusted people and is learning how to play politely with his pup companions; he could do well in a home with a well-matched canine buddy. He can be shy when meeting new friends, but warms up quickly and is building his confidence. This smart boy is fully potty-trained and working on perfecting his leash manners. As his confidence continues to grow, he would benefit from being the only dog in his forever home. He will thrive with adopters who are excited to guide him as he continues to grow up.
