This 1-year-old, 11-lb Chihuahua mix was rescued from a crowded LA County shelter. He was initially quite nervous after arriving at our adoption center, and sat off to the side by himself rather than joining in during playtime with the other dogs. However, after getting lots of love in his foster home, Twain has come out of his shell. He is the ultimate snuggle bug and a truly special companion. Twain is a medium-energy little guy who loves to play and is always down for a good cuddle. He loves exploring the great outdoors but is equally happy to curl up next to you on the couch. Twain is a smart, eager-to-please boy who is working diligently on his basics and leash manners. New people and places can still be a bit overwhelming for Twain at first, so he will do best with an adopter who can go at his pace until he is comfortable.
