We rescued Wormie back in March after one of our team members saw an online community post about a puppy living in the parking lot of a flower shop. He had been seen there for several days, with only a pile of dirt to call home. Our team went out in the middle of the night to pick him up and get him to safety.
Since coming into our care, Wormie has blossomed into a sweet, smart, and affectionate big boy! He completed a training program with Canine School of Behavior, where he worked on building his confidence. Wormie is extremely food-motivated, which makes him a very fast learner! He is still mastering his basics but he walks very nicely on a leash and loves his crate. Wormie is a high-energy guy and gets along great with other dogs who love to play as much as he does!
Wormie will thrive with adopters excited by a dog who loves to learn! He is playful, cuddly, and absolutely adorable. He would make a great companion for an active adopter or someone looking for a friend who can keep up with their dog that loves to play! He still has plenty of puppy energy and so much love in his heart. Wormie might have been let down by humans before, but we won’t let it happen again. Is this special boy the perfect pup for you?
