Meet our Adoptable Pups
Nearly 16,500 families have found their forever friends through Wags & Walks, and you can too.
Most of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait to be adopted, which helps us learn their personalities and prepare them for life with their forever families. Some dogs are also available to meet at our adoption centers.

Who We Are
Wags and Walks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving at-risk dogs and helping them find loving homes.
Founded in 2011 by Lesley Brog, we partner with overcrowded shelters to rescue dogs in need and place them in foster homes while they wait for adoption. Today, with locations in Los Angeles and Nashville, more than 16,500 dogs have found their forever families through Wags & Walks.
Through our Wags for Good initiative, we also support pets and families in our communities by expanding access to veterinary care, pet food resources, and emergency support programs that help keep dogs healthy and in loving homes.

Meet Sassy
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 40 lbs
Sassy is the perfect mix of sass and sweetness. She came to us from a crowded LA city shelter after being picked up as a stray. Since then, she’s been absolutely thriving in our care.
Sassy attended a training program with @canineschoolofbehavior, where she brushed up on all her basics. She has had tremendous success with potty training, crate training, and walks so beautifully on leash. She is a favorite amongst her fosters and our staff. Her favorite place to be is right by your side, preferably snuggled up on the couch! With her wagging little nub and big, gentle eyes, it’s hard not to fall for her.
Sassy would do best in a calm home with no young children or other pets. She will happily join you on your outdoor adventures and will be your loyal and cozy companion at home. She’s affectionate, people-oriented, and has a uniquely lovable spirit that makes her an instant favorite. Sassy would do well in a home where she can be both your loyal shadow and your cozy companion. Sassy is a one-of-a-kind girl, and we can’t believe she’s been waiting so long to find her forever home. Are you Sassy’s perfect match?
