Meet Fran! This sweet 4-year-old, 41.5lb mixed-breed girl came to us from a cruelty case and is learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Fran can be timid at first, but once she warms up, she becomes the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle bug. She wants to be right by her person’s side wherever they go, and if you’re sitting down, she’ll find a way to be touching you! Fran has a medium energy level and is usually calm and relaxed, though she definitely has a playful side! She enjoys playing with her people and loves being outside when things are quiet and peaceful. Because the world can still feel a little overwhelming to Fran, she’d do best in a quiet area where she can feel safe and comfortable. A fenced-in yard would be ideal, giving her a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors without the stress of busy walks. Fran is doing well with potty training and is making progress with her crate, though she currently feels much more comfortable relaxing in a secure room with her bed and blanket. She’s also shown she can enjoy the company of other laidback dogs and is good with kids, cats, and people! This sweet girl has been through so much, and we can't wait to see her find the forever home she deserves.

Meet Priscilla! This 12-year-old, 6lb Yorkie mix is a quirky little lady with a very sweet soul. As a senior girl, Priscilla is looking for a caring, patient home where she can slow down and enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort, safety, and love. Priscilla is gentle, mellow, and very low energy. She’s happiest spending most of her day curled up somewhere cozy, catching up on her beauty sleep, and enjoying the simple things in life. She’s been living in a home with other dogs and does well with canine companions, but because of her age and quiet nature, she’d be happiest with laidback dogs who won’t overwhelm her. Priscilla doesn’t mind her crate, though she can get a little confused when she can’t figure out how to get back out. She isn’t fully potty trained and will try to use pee pads, but sometimes has trouble keeping her business on the pad. Her future family should be prepared for some patience and occasional accidents as she settles in. Like many senior dogs, Priscilla has some hearing and vision loss, so she may need a little extra time to adjust to her surroundings. Meet Cat! This 2.5-year-old, 49lb Aussie mix is a sweet, affectionate girl who has spent her time being a wonderful mama, and now she’s ready for a home of her own! Cat is friendly with both people and other dogs and has an easygoing, happy personality. When she first arrived at the center, she had a little extra puppy-like energy, bouncing around her kennel, but she settled down fairly quickly once she got comfortable. She did wonderfully for her bath and then happily rolled around on the turf! Once outside, Cat’s playful side really comes out. She loves romping around the yard and exploring, and one of her favorite activities is running to the top of a little hill before rolling and army-crawling her way back down! She’s clearly a girl who knows how to have fun. Now that her puppies are growing up, Cat is ready to enjoy some adventures of her own. Because of her breed mix, she’ll likely thrive best in a home with a fenced-in yard or direct access to the outdoors where she can safely get exercise and enjoy exploring. Meet Francis! This 4-year-old, 43lb Poodle mix is a sweet, mild-mannered boy who seems to be a bit of an old soul. He’s an easygoing guy who is happy to be by your side, soak up some attention, and enjoy the simple things in life! He enjoys lounging in the sunshine and happily asking for pets from his favorite people. Francis has a medium energy level and seems like he would fit nicely into a variety of homes. He’s dog-friendly and previously lived with children, so he’s used to being part of a family. He also knows his name, which he’s had for several years, and appears to have had a loving, well-cared-for life before coming into our care. Unfortunately, Francis was surrendered when his family had to move into housing that did not allow pets. While losing his home was through no fault of his own, he’s taking everything in stride and is ready to find a family who can give him the stability and love he deserves! If you’re looking for a gentle, friendly pup who is happy to go with the flow, Francis could be the perfect fit!

Meet Dice! This fluffy, sweet 3-month-old, 29lb mixed-breed puppy  is expected to grow into a medium-to-large dog. Like any puppy his age, Dice is curious, playful, energetic, and ready to discover the world around him! Dice is definitely one of the more vocal pups in the bunch. He’s a typical puppy who still has plenty to learn, but he’s got a sweet personality and lots of potential! Dice may do especially well with a friendly, confident older dog who can help show him the ropes and give him an appropriate outlet for some of his puppy energy. Dice will thrive in a variety of homes with adopters who are excited to take on puppyhood and ready to guide him as he grows. If you’re ready for a fluffy, playful pup with a little extra personality, Dice might be your guy!
