Meet our Adoptable Pups
Nearly 16,500 families have found their forever friends through Wags & Walks, and you can too.
Most of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait to be adopted, which helps us learn their personalities and prepare them for life with their forever families. Some dogs are also available to meet at our adoption centers.

Who We Are
Wags and Walks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving at-risk dogs and helping them find loving homes.
Founded in 2011 by Lesley Brog, we partner with overcrowded shelters to rescue dogs in need and place them in foster homes while they wait for adoption. Today, with locations in Los Angeles and Nashville, more than 16,500 dogs have found their forever families through Wags & Walks.
Through our Wags for Good initiative, we also support pets and families in our communities by expanding access to veterinary care, pet food resources, and emergency support programs that help keep dogs healthy and in loving homes.

Meet Wormie!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 1 year old
Gender: Male
Weight: 55 lbs
We rescued Wormie after one of our team members saw an online community post about a puppy living in the parking lot of a flower shop. He had been seen there for several days, with only a pile of dirt to call home. Our team went out in the middle of the night to pick him up and get him to safety. Since coming into our care, Wormie has blossomed into a sweet, smart, and affectionate boy! This sweet pup is a playful, goofy guy who loves playtime and cuddles like a pro. He is a ball of youthful energy who is eager to please and gets along well with other dogs, especially if they are looking for a playmate. He can be shy when meeting new friends, but warms up with proper introductions (and a delicious treat or two)!
Wormie completed a training program with Canine School of Behavior, where he built his confidence and mastered his training basics. This smart boy is extremely food-motivated, which makes him a very fast learner! He is fully potty-trained, does well in his crate, and walks nicely on a leash. Wormie still has plenty of puppy energy and thrives with structure and guidance. He would make a great companion for an active adopter or someone looking for a friend who can keep up with their playful dog! Wormie might have been let down by humans before, but we won’t let it happen again. Is this special boy the perfect pup for you?
